Enrichment

Perform Shakespeare

Starting August 19th I will be offering classes with Albuquerque Little Theatre!  The focus will be Shakespeare.

Teens: Hamlet meets Simba – what on earth could these two characters have in common? More than you know.  Students explore the world of evil uncles and young kings. The group will perform a showcase of scenes from both at ALT.

Adults: Shakespeare’s villains

Aren’t villains the most fun to play? When I was playing Shakespeare, I only played fair maids and silly girls – how I longed to play Mad Queen Margaret, Richard the Third, Iago, Goneril – so many!

This is your chance to have a go at some of the most fascinating characters ever written!

Book Club

Bring your friends and let’s read a book together. We will read to each other, read quietly, eat snacks and listen to music as we talk about what matters in the book.
