Arts Integration
Arts integration involves using the arts (visual arts, music, drama, etc.) to enhance learning in other subjects. It’s not just adding art to the curriculum, but integrating it deeply into the teaching and learning process.
Teaching artists visit schools during class or after school to help a teacher bring home a standard or concept in a unique way. I use my background in professional theatre to teach students clowning techniques, improvisation, body language and more! Then we use those to learn school standards.
Invite me into your class to teach common core standards using Theatre fun!
During school hours or after school clubs – lets work together to engage your students.
